Hannah Ustun
Hannah’s paintings are defined by certain gestures, repetitive stains and recurring imprints, collectively they form a network of surfaces that communicate her focus on painting itself as the subject.
Hannah Ustun studied at Edinburgh College of Art from 2011 – 2016. She was Shortlisted for the Jackson's emerging artist prize in 2018 and received the RSA Latimer Award, as well as being nominated for the Porthmeor Cultivator Graduate Award in 2017. Hannah’s upcoming work includes an awarded residency at Dumfries House. Hannah’s studio practise is based in Edinburgh, her work is currently shown throughout the UK.
